Bowel Cleanse
Bowel movements are the basis of your health. If you don't have at least
one bowel movement per day, you are already walking your way toward
diseases. - "Keeping your
Bowel clean is the single-most important thing that you can do for your
health!"--Dr.Bernard Jensen
It is not important if your bowel is clean or dirty.
It is not important if you have or not mucoid plaque inside your bowel!
Everyone benefits from bowel cleanse.
It improves your health and your well being.
Especially people who have intestinal parasites, Candidiasis (Candida
infection), people who suffer from allergies, underweight, digestive
problems, "incurable diseases" ...
The
average person on a typical Western Diet holds approx. 8 meals of
undigested food and waste material in the colon, while the average
person on a high fiber diet holds only 3.
Everyone would greatly benefit with
doing a full Bowel Cleanse at least once per year, with ongoing colon
maintenance when necessary. It is recommended that Parasite
Cleanse be taken at the same time as the Bowel Cleanse. For optimum
health, our objective should be to cleanse not only the colon, but all
of the vital inner organs as well.
Why Cleanse the Bowel?
A good cleansing program should always begin by removing the waste in
your colon, the last portion of your food processing chain. If you
attempt to clean your liver, blood, or lymph system without first
addressing a waste filled bowel, the excreted toxins will only get
recycled back into your body.
One of the most frequent bowel problems that people experience today is
constipation. Constipation is generally attributed to a low fibre diet
and lack of sufficient water, which cause our fecal matter to become
condensed and compressed.
A constipated system is one in which the transition, or "transit
time", of toxic wastes is slow and the consistency of the stool can
cause strain (which over time may cause hemorrhoids, varicose veins,
hiatal hernia, or other mechanically induced problems). The longer the
"transit time", the longer the toxic waste matter sits in our
bowel, which allows proteins to putrefy, fats to rancify, and
carbohydrates to ferment.
The longer your body is exposed to putrefying food in your intestines,
the greater the risk of developing disease. Even with one bowel movement
per day, you will still have at least three meals worth of waste matter
putrefying in your colon at all times. On top of all this, your system
can also become continuously self-polluting by the poisonous gases that
are caused by foods you don't tolerate. These poisonous gases can enter
your bloodstream, irritating your organs and joints.
Alternating between constipation and diarrhoea, or diarrhoea alone, are
also indications of foul matter in your intestines. And finally, the
much more serious problems of cancer and immune system dysfunctions
begin with a toxic bowel.
The long held belief of some health professionals, is that many people
just have fewer bowel movements than others. This is true, but they also
neglected to inform these individuals that those having fewer bowel
movements are harboring a fertile breeding ground for serious diseases
and possibly death. Infrequent or poor quality bowel movements over an
extended period of time are very hazardous to your health.
Once we truly understand the "single greatest challenge our body
faces is the effective removal of wastes and toxins ", we will
never again undermine the importance of frequent, high quality, bowel
movements.
Gastroenterologist, Dr. Anthony Bassler, tells his colleagues,
"Every physician should realize that the intestinal toxemias
(poisons) are the most important primary and contributing causes of many
disorders and the diseases of the human body."
The Cleanse:
Psyllium and bentonite are one of
the simplest and most effective ways to cleanse the digestive system.
Liquid bentonite should be used, or powdered bentonite should be
hydrated to a semi-pourable 'yogurt' consistency prior to using it.
• Mix 1 Tablespoon of liquid bentonite and
• 1 teaspoon of powdered psyllium (or 1 Tablespoon if using whole husk
psyllium) with
• 8-10oz of water or diluted juice,
• shake and drink immediately.
• Follow this with another 8-10oz glass of water. This is in addition
to daily water intake of half your body weight in ounces. Sufficient
water is a key to success with this cleanse!
• Psyllium and bentonite shakes should be taken at least one hour
before or after taking any supplements, herbs, medications, etc.
NB: The
shakes MUST be taken on an empty stomach - at least one hour away from
food on either side. First thing in the morning and/or last thing at
night are easy. Then one or 2 in the afternoon after lunch and before
dinner
Start with one shake a day and gradually increase as the body adjusts to
the additional fibre. It may take 3-5 shakes a day and/or several weeks
before you start passing mucoid plaque. Continue taking the shakes as
long as mucoid plaque is being eliminated for up to 6 months. Additional
cleanses may be necessary in order to thoroughly cleanse the digestive
system and can be performed for a few months at a time.
• Each cleanse should be followed with the
use of a good-quality probiotic to replace beneficial bacteria.
• Maintenance cleanses should be done 2-4 times per year.
If constipation should occur while doing this cleanse:
1) increase daily water intake
2) use enemas or colonics to clear out released material and get
things moving again
3) cut back on the shakes or stop the cleanse until the bowels
are moving regularly again.
This cleanse can be combined with the Master Cleanse and Parasite
Cleanse...this is called the Ultimate Fast. It can also be done with
juice fasting.
This cleanse can also be performed while eating a normal diet. However,
the 'cleaner' the diet is, the better the results will be. Reduce or
eliminate meats, dairy, flours, sugars, processed foods, toxic exposures
of all types...anything that is mucoid-forming. The diet should include
lots of fresh vegetables and fruits (if tolerated), fresh juices,
salads, soups, etc. Liquid minerals including trace minerals and
electrolytes are beneficial for creating an alkaline state in the body
and can improve the results of the cleanse.
Dry skin brushing is a great addition to a
colon cleanse...it cleans the skin and also circulates and cleanses the
lymph, aiding in the elimination process. A natural bristle sisal or
tampico brush is used...brush all areas of the skin (except face and any
sensitive areas) with long strokes towards the heart prior to shower or
bath. The brush and skin are both dry when brushing is performed.
Psyllium and bentonite can help to eliminate parasites and candida, but
each of these conditions requires additional measures to address it
completely. A Parasite Cleanse can be
performed with the colon cleanse or immediately after. Liver/gallbladder
cleansing is also beneficial following a thorough colon cleansing.
Above all else...pay
close attention to how your body responds and honour what it needs!
